When our clients first hired us to help with their starter home, they were expecting their first son. Five years and two more sons later, they were ready to graduate to a larger home to accommodate their active family. They found a charming Victorian home in the heart of the Main Line. Like many such houses of the period it was big on personality, asymmetry and quirk. Our clients loved the idea of leaning into these features and we embarked on a year long project to accentuate and enhance its beautiful character by employing playful patterns, lively color combinations, and a mix of vintage and custom pieces. In the dining room we added custom floor-to-ceiling hand painted wallpaper by Gracie Studios which helped emphasize the room's tall ceilings and grand presence.
