Our clients purchased a new apartment in a beautiful, historic pre-war apartment building intending it to be their empty nest home once their second child departed for college the following year. The apartment had not been touched in any significant way for several decades and it showed. But it also had so much untapped potential: high ceilings, graciously-sized rooms and a row of windows overlooking Riverside Drive and the Hudson River. We partnered with AD100 architectural firm Kligerman Architecture and Design to completely transform this dated home into an elegant, warm, and inviting refuge. A complete floor plan overhaul, addition of critical millwork and interior detailing, brand new white oak herringbone floors, and countless other alterations contributed to the apartment's impressive transformation.
